Step-by-step production process.

Electronics

  1. primary testing

  2. add GPS antenna

  3. GPS antenna tuning (1590 MHz in air)

  4. add EMI shield (temporarily attached in one corner)

  5. battery 6-pack/board assembly (6x Saft-17500)

  6. add connectors (both boards; NOTE: the connectors should be soldered onto the board before the batteries)

  7. remove all components from the top part of the board including antenova

  8. add zero-ohm resistor next to antenova

  9. add connector (RF coaxial 50 ohm / U.FL; position: con2)

  10. LoRa antenna tuning

  11. break off the charger

  12. assembly

  13. provisioning

Mechanics

Enclosure

  1. plastic enclosure production

  2. washing of the enclosure

  3. aluminium lid production

  4. anodisation of the lid

  5. indentation of the screw holes on the attachment plates

  6. polishing the attachment plates

  7. assembly of the hardware - enclosure + lid (screws: 8x M4x12 + 8x M4x16 rust-free /tracker)

  8. engraving of serial numbers (laser parameters: power 30%, speed 250 mm/s)
